County accounting asked the Board of County Commissioners to sign corrected standard forms for the Grand County Housing Authority and presented the week's vouchers for approval. "This week's batch of vouchers is just a little bit over 1,069,000," the accounting representative said, noting that the clerk and recorder is dispersing a large portion after collecting $683,000 last month.
The accounting presentation called out significant items in the vouchers: about $137,000 for sheriff's equipment including tasers and body cameras; $32,000 for annual budgeting software costs; $25,000 for the financial accounting system; and roughly $29,000 for new heating and other improvements at the Fairgrounds dance hall. The board moved and approved the vouchers and related housing authority form actions by voice vote.
