"The primary increase that the county has experienced has been in medical care and insurance," Chief Harding said, explaining that the rate structure is flat with additional fees for extraordinary medical transports or treatments. Council members requested past invoices and a trend summary; staff said recent invoices have included bills in the neighborhood of $15,000 and that staff will return with a spending history before the ILA is moved from consent to a final filed item.
