Poulsbo staff presented Amendment 1 to the interlocal agreement with Kitsap County for traffic‑signal maintenance, covering routine inspections and repairs for the city’s 11 signals. Staff said the amendment corrects a prior date/dollar error and increases the corrected monthly cost from $389.66 to $407.59.
"Kitsap County does our signal maintenance, we have 11 signals in the city and that means that every month they go out and inspect them, they make sure they're working correctly and if we have an issue they show up and they perform the maintenance work," Diane said, explaining the amendment is a correction and has gone through legal review. The council authorized the mayor to sign the amendment by voice vote.
