By unanimous votes, the Board adopted the 2025–26 District-wide School Safety Plan, the Building Level Emergency Response Plan (confidential), and the Codes of Conduct for Pratt Elementary (PK–6) and the Junior/Senior High School (7–12). After discussion about residency verification and sign-in procedures, the Board also adopted Public Forum Guidance to govern public comments.
Mr. Atwater read the public-forum statement explaining the purpose and rules: "the purpose of the public forum is to provide an opportunity for District residents to address the Board. Comments should be limited to less than three (3) minutes and be confined to subjects normally addressed at the Board level." Trustees also approved an overnight 8th-grade trip to Washington, D.C., for May 12–15, 2026, and declared a set of books excess property for disposal.
