County staff said the funds would finance two new vehicles and subsidize partial operational costs to launch a new fixed route and expand Dial‑A‑Ride service to North Ridgeville, Avon and Columbia Township.
Deputy Administrator Perkins briefed the board that the grant deadline and the transit development plan schedule required prompt action; the board authorized the county administrator or designee to sign the application and provide supporting documentation to NOACA.
