A developer who identified herself as Michelle told the Luxemburg Village Board she plans to buy the Mac Arendt property on the village's north side and run sewer lines through the golf course and under the creek to a lift station by Northbrook behind the maintenance building.
Michelle said the work would be completed in two phases and that, per the proposed arrangement, the developer will pay the equivalent cost of an 8-inch pipe rather than the 12-inch cost; the village would be responsible for the remainder. She also said any property adjacent to the new sewer alignment would have one year from completion of the sewer installation to hook up, per village ordinance. The board noted it holds an easement across the golf course for the work.
