Jasper CCSD 17 board moves into closed session, approves minutes and appoints Secretary Pro-Tempore

The board returned from closed session at 6:30 p.m. and voted to approve the executive session minutes as recorded.
Following approval of the closed-session minutes, the board appointed Justin Atwood as Secretary Pro-Tempore on a motion by Shawn Otey, seconded by Jarad Blanton. The meeting was then adjourned at 6:53 p.m.; roll-call votes on the appointment and adjournment were recorded with present members voting yes and one absence noted.
