Board approves financial reports and authorizes tax levies totaling several million dollars

The board approved a resolution "Accepting the Amounts and Rates as determined by the Budget Commission of Tuscarawas County and authorizing the necessary tax levies," which lists Permanent Improvement at 4.2 mills ($1,241,000), Current Expense (General) at 20.5 mills ($5,300,000), Permanent Improvement at 2.0 mills ($476,000) and Current Expense (General) at 3.0 mills ($783,000). The package was approved on roll call (Mrs. Host, Ms. Campbell, Mrs. Grandison, Mr. Peters, Mrs. Wolf — all yes).
