The Claymont City Board approved a Memorandum of Understanding with Kent State University to continue College Credit Plus offerings for the 2026–27 school year. The board also authorized annual membership in the Ohio School Boards Association for 2026 at the cost of $8,398.
In technology and facilities business the board approved a contract with OME-RESA for internet services using E-Rate funding, approved a contract with Congruex for fiber removal and setup to the central office, and approved a contract with Laketec for UPS unit services (also using E-Rate). These items were presented as part of the superintendent's recommendations and were approved on the motion brought to the board.
