The board reviewed the District Student Bullying and Harassment report (per ORC 3313.666) for August through December 2025. The report showed three bullying incidents at the middle school and no incidents recorded for the high, intermediate, elementary, primary or preschool buildings in that reporting period.
On superintendent recommendation the board approved Aubrey Somers as an early 2026 graduate of Claymont High School. The board also approved an unpaid leave for Alexis Stallman effective Feb. 24–April 21, 2026, and approved several hires and substitute assignments, including Samuel Schafer as a full-time preferred substitute custodian at $15/hour and Brandy Bishop as a certified ELA substitute at $90/day (retroactive Jan. 5–9, 2026). The board approved a partial mentor supplemental payment of $498 for Ian Meiser.
These personnel items were included in the superintendent's package and were approved on a single motion with roll call.
