Town of Islip summer camp: district reports full sessions, temporary waitlists in earlier weeks

Lori O'Hara, the district's executive director of professional development, pupil services and special education, briefed trustees on the Town of Islip summer-camp sessions and enrollment numbers. "There are three sessions scheduled two weeks apart. There are 50 students that are enrolled in each of those sessions," O'Hara said, summarizing the registration by session.
O'Hara provided session-by-session details: the first two-week session had 50 enrolled with 11 students from other districts and two students waitlisted; the second session had 49 enrolled and five waitlisted; the third session currently has 50 enrolled and no waitlist. Trustees thanked O'Hara for the update and moved on to other business.
