Staff reported observing nine different vehicles making repeated trips and cited incidents of brush dumped in the road, which they said violates the town's Local Law No. 3 of 2023. Staff said the first step will be outreach to violators followed by enforcement to preserve the resource for taxpayers.
Board members agreed to prioritize outreach and enforcement so the facility remains available for residents. No fines or specific enforcement timelines were established in the meeting; staff said license-plate monitoring and follow-up contact with users will begin as an initial enforcement step.
