The resolution states the town would commit a 10% local match and, if awarded, use Emde Spen Consulting to assist with the nomination and planning work. "The town will apply for a $250,000 BOA funding representing no more than 90% of the total project costs," the chair read as part of the resolution language.
Board members voted to adopt the resolution by roll call. The resolution states the BOA planning process is intended to support future redevelopment funding applications, address potentially contaminated or underused sites, and identify strategic infrastructure opportunities. The board also authorized the town supervisor to execute grant documents and to cooperate with consultants and partners if the grant is awarded.
