Council rejects purchase of used Ford F-150, notes several inoperable city trucks

Council considered selling the nonfunctional units and using funds to repair the remaining operational trucks. The motion to buy the Ford failed, with only Debbie Lockhart voting aye and five councilmembers voting no.
No repair contract or sale was authorized at the meeting; members discussed options and left further action for a future agenda.
