Superintendent says FY25 finished better than projected; board schedules policy committee follow‑up

Superintendent J. Henry told the board he had attached a simple, unaudited summary of the district's Fiscal Year 2025 and that, "as expected, we finished the year better than projected," with some unexpected revenues received before June 30 and some unrealized expenditures or liabilities. Henry said he did not expect substantial changes when the final audited report arrives in September.
Henry also said the Board Policy Committee would meet immediately after the July 14 meeting to review proposed policy revisions and prepare a recommendation for final adoption at the regular August 2025 board meeting. The minutes show the board will address policy changes as part of its regular review cycle and the superintendent will provide the FY25 audit when it is completed in September.
No vote was recorded on the unaudited summary; the FY25 audit and formal adoption of any policy revisions will appear on future agendas.
