District says HVAC Phase III is underway and progressing

Superintendent J. Henry told the board on June 16 that Phase III of the district HVAC project began on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 and is “progressing well.” He reported that sheet metal work has started, about half of the interior equipment has been hung, and pipefitters began work the previous week. Henry said the contractor, Heartland Mechanical, assigned the same foreman this year, which he described as a significant continuity benefit.
Henry offered a project walk-through for board members after the meeting. The update did not include an expected completion date or change order amounts; the superintendent invited board members to review the work in person to observe progress and oversight.
