Commissioners elect new chair and vice chair, set traffic and design-review committee rosters
Summary
The Planning and Transportation Commission held nominations and votes to elect new leadership and assigned members to the traffic and design review committees; nominations for chair and vice chair were put forward and approved and commissioners were appointed to committee seats.
During the meeting commissioners nominated and elected new leadership. A commissioner nominated Laval for chair and another seconded the nomination; the commission then voted and members congratulated the newly elected leaders. A separate nomination for vice chair named Commissioner Bhutan and that second was recorded as well.
After a brief recess to rearrange seating, the chair announced committee appointments: Disney and Molnari were designated to the traffic committee, and Blum, Blum and Berton were named to the design review committee. The commission accepted these assignments before moving on to the consent calendar.
