City staff reported that the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) public comment period on the Napa County Regional Climate Action Plan is open to the public until August 31 and encouraged residents to submit comments during the comment window. Staff also noted an upcoming League of California Bicycles webinar on e-bikes and said two commission seats will be open; recruitment is expected to begin in October with new appointees seated after the new council is in place in mid-November or December.
"The public comment is now open for the California Environmental Quality Act and initial study mitigation declaration for the final Napa County Regional Climate Action Plan," staff said, and staff invited commissioners and residents to participate in the review period. The announcement closed the commission's business for the evening, and the meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
