Shelby County repeals CO2 pipeline liaison position, effective April 1

The earlier position, created January 21, 2025, had been intended to assist the board with issues surrounding a proposed CO2 pipeline; the board determined the position is "no longer necessary or feasible." The repeal was approved unanimously.
The board did not discuss establishing an alternative liaison role during the meeting; the resolution repeals the prior action in its entirety and sets an April 1 effective date for elimination of the post.
