The board approved a transportation agreement for the 2025–26 school year that permits neighboring district buses to turn around within Clinton territory without picking up Clinton students; trustees said the arrangement is administrative and does not alter district financial responsibilities. Members noted a few students live near the boundary lines and that the neighboring district’s bus merely turns around on a route that passes through Clinton.
The board also approved student attendance agreements for students coming into Clinton and acknowledged agreements for students leaving the district to attend other districts. "It doesn't affect us financially in respect to transportation or legal things that we have to agree to let them have a their regular route going into our district is my understanding," one trustee said during the discussion.
