Ryan told the Selectboard that a 2024 truck refurbishment was paid for using a little more than $20,000 from the Emergency Medical Service Reserve even though those funds were restricted for ambulance purchases. The balance needs to be reinstated to reflect the reserve’s intended purpose.
Cote Griggs moved to replace the missing $20,365 from the Fire Department Truck Replacement Fund and move it to the Emergency Medical Service Reserve immediately.
