Planning staff names new planning manager and postpones several agenda items

A planning division staff member opened the meeting by formally congratulating Arturo Salazar on his appointment as Planning Division Planning Manager and said the commission looked forward to his leadership.
Staff also requested and the chair acknowledged the continuance of agenda item 6a to the Oct. 7 planning commission meeting and the withdrawal and renoticing of items 6b and 6d for the Sept. 2 meeting. The staff representative advised that notice had been given and files were available for the commission’s review.
