Runnells public works to paint handicap space; council to consider WWTF laptop request and staffing hours

City public-works staff reported they have supplies to paint the handicap parking space(s) at the community center; Phillips volunteered to do the painting. Council asked that a previously requested resolution — made by Mayor Webster on Feb. 10, 2026 — authorizing a laptop for conducting WWTF readings be placed on an upcoming agenda so staff can complete required work.
The public-works director told the council that additional hours may be necessary to complete workload and indicated openness to full-time hours if required for snow removal. Mayor Hickman also requested that restrooms at City Park be opened on May 27, 2026 for preschool use.
