The McKinleyville Community Services District board on July 1 adopted Resolution 2026-26 electing to collect delinquent service charges on the Humboldt County tax roll for fiscal year 2026–27 and setting a public hearing for August 5, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at Azalea Hall.
Finance Director Samantha Howard presented the item and answered directors' questions. The board voted to order the preparation and filing of a report and to set the hearing (motion by Director Orsini; second Director Couch). The motion passed by roll call: Ayes — Binder, Biteman, Couch, Mayo and Orsini.
