Council rejects park camera installation but approves signs and keyless entry purchase

Council considered multiple security-related items during the Feb. 10 meeting. Resolution 2026-10, which would have approved installation of a camera in the park, failed on a 2–3 vote. The minutes record the motion as Henry/Bohn with two ayes and three nays; the council did not authorize camera installation.
Despite that defeat, the council approved Resolution 2026-12 to purchase signs for park cameras and the community center on a LaBelle/Henry motion (vote 5-0). The council also approved Resolution 2026-11 (keyless-entry purchase for public works) unanimously. Separately, a motion to remove codes from the community center — moved Bohn/Henry — failed on a 2–3 vote, so the requested change to codes was not adopted.
