Council approves Ordinance 503 second reading, deed to JDA and Nutrition United lease; reviews floodplain ordinance first reading
Summary
In New Business the council approved Satisfaction of Judgment for Paul Weigand after a $10,000 payment, adopted second reading of Ordinance 503 amending Chapter 13.51.080, approved a quit-claim deed to the Rolla Job Development Authority for Lot 11, Block 9 and a revised lease with Nutrition United effective May 1, 2026; the Flood Plain Ordinance received first reading.
The council addressed several discrete New Business items on Feb. 18.
The minutes record that full payment of $10,000 was received from Paul Weigand for tuition reimbursement and the council approved a Satisfaction of Judgment. Council also approved second reading of Ordinance 503, described as amendments to Chapter 13.51.080 subsections (3), (4), (5) and (6).
Council approved a Quit Claim Deed transferring Lot 11, Block 9 (OTS) to the Rolla Job Development Authority and approved a revised lease with Nutrition United effective May 1, 2026. The council also held the first reading and review of a proposed Flood Plain Ordinance and voted to approve that first reading. No immediate action was taken on the 11th St SW paving request; Clarence Booth was directed to work with Planning and Zoning on rezoning and subdivision platting.
