The Rolla City Council voted Feb. 18 to approve its meeting agenda and consent agenda and to authorize payment of bills presented by the auditor.
"All members voted 'AYE'," the minutes record after the motion to approve the agenda and later to accept the consent agenda. The bills register provided to the council lists vendor payments and payroll-related disbursements totaling $777,273.98.
Councilmember Willie Fritz moved to approve payment of the bills "as funds become available," a motion seconded by Counts and recorded as carried. The list includes bank, vendor and utility payments across several departments and a reported total of $777,273.98.
The council accepted committee reports from Administrative, Police and Public Works committees and gave direction on several follow-up items, including filing an application for design funding for water treatment plant improvements with the North Dakota Department of Water Resources.
