The Rolla City Council unanimously adopted Rolette County's Local Emergency Operations Plan on Jan. 21 after the countyEmergency Manager provided a copy for review. The motion to adopt was made by Damond Schemmel and seconded by Willie Fritz; all members voted "Aye."
City Attorney Rachael Mickelson Hendrickson updated the council on Senate Bill 2027 concerning floodplain management and said she and City Auditor Tara McDougall will prepare a draft for consideration at the next meeting.
