Council member reports follow-up with senator and expected role on air-quality task force

"we were able to get an audience with our senator, Ken Milner," S6 said, and added that the result of that meeting led to a second meeting with the director of environmental quality and the director of air quality. S6 said they have been invited to sit on the task force that will look at updating air-quality regulations and that the next meeting is expected in early December.
Council members asked S6 to report back as the task force work progresses and highlighted the city’s interest in monitoring dust impacts on the community.
