The applicant seeks a development order amendment to allocate permitted uses on the phase 2 portion of the Project Tango master plan, specifically 280,000 square feet of data and information processing, 148,000 square feet of minor utility, and 1,146,564 square feet of warehouse, planner Lindsay Livis told the board.
“We're asking to allocate an additional 280,000 square feet of data and information processing,” Livis said, adding that the request does not change master plan boundaries but clarifies how previously‑approved EDC uses are apportioned to phase 2. Commissioners asked repeated questions about earlier approvals (2016 and 2021), the difference between what is “approved” and what the board is being asked to “allocate” now, and whether the application adds overall square footage to the MUPD. The applicant maintained the request is an allocation under the ULDC and agreed to conditions limiting administrative conversion of certain parcels to data uses within 850 feet of property lines.
