At the April 7 meeting Audit & Finance Committee chair Jim Colt reported committee discussions covering projected revenues, expenditures and fund balance, a summary of the Superintendent’s recent online budget forums, and the need to develop a long-term financial planning report. The committee also considered audit-committee membership and reviewed BPD, Inc.’s assessment that the district’s fiscal health and credit rating are good.
Following the report, the board voted 5–0 to approve projected revenues, expenditures and fund balance as of March 31, 2025. Board members discussed using the feedback gathered from online forums when finalizing budget materials and communications.
