County crews were reported to be in town doing parking‑lot striping for the farmers market and are preparing to reconfigure a sidewalk crossing near the clock tower into a three‑way crosswalk with added signage.
"We're gonna redo it and we're gonna add to it to a 3 way crosswalk," the chief said when describing the county plan. Committee members agreed that where crosswalks exist or are being added, striping and stop bars should be coordinated with paving and painting schedules to ensure consistency and minimize duplication of effort.
