Village Administrator Eric opened the administrator's report by recognizing Rocco for 30 years in professional assessing work and for building the village's assessing function and a multi‑community consortium.
"He has joined Pleasant Prairie a decade after a decade with Kenosha County and built from scratch the assessing department," Eric said, praising Rocco's technical expertise and work with the League of Wisconsin Municipalities. Rocco accepted the recognition and said the last 30 years were "a lot challenging, exciting, and very rewarding." Several trustees and staff added personal thanks and examples of Rocco's role in keeping assessments fair and defending the village's positions in court.
The board used the administrator's report portion of the agenda to highlight the contribution and to present a commemorative award; no formal action beyond the recognition was taken.
