At the Feb. 24 meeting the Board of County Commissioners approved several appointments and one consent-item grant application.
Staff recommended appointing Jennifer Pitts to the Heritage Committee and reappointing Stuart Gibson, Raymond Mejar and Dustin Walker as regular members of the Gambling Permit Review Committee with Eric Thompson and Cynthia Caproni named as alternates; Lawrence Durovski was reappointed to the Economic Development Advisory Commission. The board approved each appointment by motion and voice vote.
On the consent agenda the board approved a FY2027 grant application from the Calvert County Circuit Court seeking funding for an adult treatment court program.
