Judge says South Weber municipal court passed audits and is 'punching above its weight'

Judge Mimmo presented the annual court review, noting that the court’s clerk (Alisa) was selected for a statewide clerk leadership council and that he was elected to the state judicial council. He told the council the small community court is "punching way above our weight" and that audits and training were completed during the year.
"This really is, I think, the best run court in the whole state," Judge Mimmo said, adding he is grateful for the professionalism of court staff and the confidence shown by the city. Councilmembers thanked him and asked a few clarifying budget questions; Judge Mimmo said he was not aware of any pending legislation that would materially change operations and offered to answer follow-up questions.
