Coosa Riverkeeper urges county to weigh runoff and watershed impacts of denser subdivisions

Commissioners and staff acknowledged the environmental concerns and said they would coordinate with water‑protection organizations and incorporate appropriate language or standards where feasible.
The commission flagged the environmental input as one more factor—alongside traffic, schools and sewer—shaping a final package of standards and exemptions.
