Board member Greg Guyette made a motion, seconded by Lindsay Cutler, to move into executive session as permitted by Connecticut General Statutes Section 1-225(a) for discussion of employees bargaining unit negotiations covering paraeducators, nurses, food service and administrative assistants. The motion passed unanimously and the minutes record the board entered executive session at 7:26 p.m.; the board returned to public session at 7:44 p.m.
The board limited attendance in executive session to board members, the superintendent and the director of human resources. No public details of the negotiations were recorded in the minutes; following the return to public session, the meeting proceeded to adjournment at 7:47 p.m.
