Superintendent Shawn Parkhurst introduced the district’s first-draft strategic plan and said the meeting provided an initial look with additional feedback opportunities to follow and materials to be posted online. Rebecca Bissonnette highlighted the Student Performance area; Giovanna Testani discussed Culture and Climate; and Greg Weigert and Andrew Goodwin presented the Facilities and Operations area.
Parkhurst framed the presentation as a starting point for community and board feedback. The administration indicated the draft will be circulated for comment and that the board will receive subsequent opportunities to review revisions as task forces refine recommendations.
