Lindsay Cutler, reporting from the finance subcommittee, said the Operations Specialist position — part of an earlier reorganization but removed during FY26 budget reductions — was discussed and that the subcommittee agreed to bring a revised job description and funding options back to the full board for review. Cutler also outlined expectations for the Jan. 10, 2026 budget workshop, asking for 1–2 slides that highlight what has changed in the budget.
Superintendent Shawn Parkhurst asked if other board members had additional requests for the workshop and the board agreed with the slide format; a request was also made to provide a Zoom attendance option for one board member. The board did not take immediate action but set a procedural path to reconsider the position and funding prior to final budget decisions.
