On Dec. 10, 2025, the Windsor Locks Board of Education Finance Subcommittee met at the Central Office Meeting Hall, where Superintendent Shawn Parkhurst reviewed actions the Town Board of Finance took the previous day on district capital requests. Parkhurst identified the WLPS technology items and the "NSS Chimney" as items the BOF had acted on at its Dec. 9 meeting.
Parkhurst told the subcommittee that those BOF actions affect which projects remain under BOE consideration for FY27; the subcommittee did not take further formal votes on those items at this meeting. No public comment was offered during the agenda-item public comment period.
