The Fitchburg Council on Aging adopted revisions to its bylaws in an 8–0 vote after Anne Fitch’s arrival produced the two‑thirds quorum needed to act.
There was no discussion and "the motion to approve the recommended changes to the Bylaws passed with an 8-0 vote," the minutes state. George Bourque moved to approve the recommended changes and Bonnie Hautala seconded. Clerk Debbie Dion said she will delete the label "Draft 5" from the document and record that the bylaws were revised and adopted on Jan. 8, 2026. The board set its next meeting for Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, where minutes will reflect the formal approval.
