Bridal said manufacturers (GAMMI, Swift, VP Racing) are advancing candidates for unleaded alternatives but cautioned that adoption across general aviation will take time and that the FAA may initially select a single supplier. "It is so clear that there is a commitment to do something about lead in the fuel," she said, but added that a practical fleetwide transition will require engine and equipment alignment and could slip past 2030. Bridal recommended the commission maintain engagement with AOPA and BOA resources and suggested the city explore charging infrastructure for advanced air mobility as part of future planning.
Commissioners asked staff to collect materials and urged continued regional coordination so Middleton can position itself as an early-adopter site when technologies and certifications permit.
