The board concurred that a written policy should require prior approval for reimbursements rather than allow after‑the‑fact requests. "The board was in agreement that a written policy needs to be established and most certainly an individual requesting reimbursement prior to attending and not after the fact, is essential," the minutes state.
No action was taken at the Oct. 7 meeting; Clerk Ries will prepare and submit a proposed reimbursement/attendance policy for consideration at a future board meeting.
