Superintendent Ryan Pacatte told the board that Avon uses intermunicipal agreements with neighboring districts to codify guidelines, processes and expense sharing for shared athletic teams. He said the district maintains an umbrella agreement that will be renewed every five years and individual sport addendums that are reviewed annually.
Pacatte said the clay target/trap shooting team has been added to the umbrella agreement this year and that Geneseo students are joining that team this season. He said the district will re-evaluate the individual agreements next year.
