Board accepts retirements, appoints substitute and a spring coach in consent agenda
Summary
Trustees approved minutes and a slate of personnel actions including three retirement notices, a short-term clerical consultant, a long-term substitute mental health team member (effective 2/11/25) and spring clay-target coach Sandy Kaufmann; vote was unanimous.
On motion by Karen Vanderbilt, seconded by Steve Comeau, the Board approved its Jan. 27 minutes and accepted several personnel items on the consent agenda, including resignation-for-retirement notices for Michaelle Hawkins, Aurora Whiting and Leigh Major and appointment actions.
The Board approved Kim Giambra as a clerical counseling office consultant (effective 1/28/25 to on or about 2/28/25), named Mary Warner as a long-term substitute on the mental health team effective Feb. 11, 2025, and accepted the spring 2025 coach appointment for Sandy Kaufmann (clay target/trap); CSE/CPSE minutes and Warrant Report A-51 were also accepted. Vote: 4 Ayes, 0 Nays.
The items will be reflected on the personnel agenda for formal record-keeping at the next meeting where appropriate.
