The Planning Board reviewed Eagle Property Management’s proposal for a neighborhood convenience store at 100 East State Street and was advised by the Code Enforcement Officer that the proposed use is not permitted in the current zoning district. Because a variance is required, the Board directed the applicant to seek relief from the Zoning Board of Appeals before the Planning Board may consider final site-plan approval.
The minutes record that the applicant’s next Zoning Board of Appeals meeting is scheduled for Aug. 20 at 3:45 p.m. and that a public hearing on the planning application will be scheduled for Sept. 1, 2026 at 4:00 p.m., contingent upon ZBA action.
