During public discussion Lisa Robinson Schoeller asked about a FOIL request concerning the TFY property. Supervisor Adams said the town cannot provide sale documents because "the town is not a partner to the sales transaction between Inspirited and TFY and therefore cannot provide any documents regarding the sale." The town indicated it hopes to work with a prospective buyer on redevelopment that aligns with town goals and lake conservation, but emphasized that the sale process is private between seller and buyer.
Online commenter Sally Dessloch asked whether the town would own the beach after the sale. Supervisor Adams said the town would own the beach with conditions and, "if and when, the town takes ownership of the beach, it will subcontract operation of the beach to the Adams Point Beach Association." No formal transfer or deed conditions were presented at the meeting; the board described ownership as conditional on completion of the private sale.
