Staff sought board approval of a professional-services proposal with Tria Architecture to prepare a park master plan and support an OSLAD grant application for Whitetail Park’s 2027 reconstruction. The village budgeted $13,000 for the contract and staff said a full project budget could be approximately $800,000 assuming a $400,000 OSLAD grant.
Public Works explained that OSLAD requires park-specific planning materials and budget worksheets and that Tria would help format environmental-assessment statements to meet IDNR requirements. Trustee Selfridge moved to approve the scope and fee; the board approved the motion on roll call.
