Supervisor Brenda Adams introduced the Stoddard Park masterplan and said the project will be partially funded by a grant before handing the presentation to Suzanne Michael, who reviewed two bids and outlined their main differences. The board discussed forming a Park Committee composed of a board member, a Recreation Committee member, a Climate Smart Task Force member, a representative of the Senior Lunch Program and a youth member to coordinate the project.
No dollar totals or contract awards were decided at the Feb. 10 meeting; the board discussed membership and oversight for the project and directed staff to advance the procurement and grant coordination process. The proposal was detailed enough to warrant committee formation, but final approvals and formal contracting were deferred until bid evaluation and further review.
