Public Works staff briefed the board on the US 52 water/sewer extension project and recommended approval of a ComEd construction license agreement requiring easement fees totaling $17,486.67.
Staff detailed the fee breakdown: a $10,773.78 payment for the permanent easement and $6,712.89 for a temporary easement. "They require execution of a construction license agreement...the permit application also requires a payment in the amount of $10,773.78 for the permanent easement fee, plus $6,712.89 for the temporary easement," Public Works said. Trustee Selfridge moved to approve the agreement and the roll call vote carried.
Staff indicated the agreement is a standard ComEd form and that village attorney reviewed it prior to recommending approval.
